Literature Review.

Gays? what is gay? being happy? There’s two meaning to it and today i’m talking about the other meaning, “Homosexuality”.
Homosexuality know as many, is A wrong Behaviour or Relationship know by the Societies during the 70s, 80s and even the societies of today,
but how much do we know about being Homosexuals? Here’s a little background of Homosexuals, throughout history, Homosexuality had been discriminate and
accepted by different societies around the world. To those who accepted it, they say that these aspects were seen as a way to “improve society”,
However to those who discriminate it, they say that these behaviours are seen as “a sin or a disease”

The main pushing factor of homosexuality, was indirectly encouraged by the media. Personally, i think that its because of the Media which made Homosexuality more
more and common now a days in Singapore. E.g: Most guys in Singapore wouldn’t mind look at Two hot and pretty lesbians make out, and i bet they love it. And
its because of such videos that increase the Homosexuality population in Singapore.

The second main pushing factor of homosexuality is peer pressure. Many same gender school in Singapore such as St Nicholas and St Joseph, from what i believe
, have a 60% homosexual rate in each of the school. I believe it started from a long time ago that influenced from the seniors to the juniors, gradually till now.

The third main pushing factor is a broken relationship a guy or girl had occured from the past, which made them believe that their opposite gender will always
hurt them and so they lost trust in the opposite gender, and when their close friends of the same gender helped them through that emotional period of their life,
they think that they could trust more in the same gender and hence fall in “love”.

So how has homosexuals affect our society, personally i think that it won’t affect much on our society, but seeing them holding hands and kissing on the streets
will bring me quite a wierd feeling, i think that the only people that will be affected is their family, how would their parents see them as, they can’t carry
on the family name, can’t make babies. But it dosen’t matter as long as they know what they are doing, cause basically i think that they are just pursuing what
they love, yes though there’s some psychological issues here, but as long as they enjoy themselves and live life to the fullest, what’s more to ask?
